This website meets you with funny, colorful design and lots of bright elements on it. They position themselves as “all-in-one” editing services and offer literature, academic and business editing. I was interested in Academic option only, so I don’t have a clue how the others work. The site itself isn’t really well-structured and has testimonials rather than useful information.
Price Policy
I was looking for the price table or at least approximate price per page, but the only thing I found was the price quote. However, you actually need to register for calculate your price! It’s a real pain in the neck. Who wants to fill in the endless form just to find out that the price is too high for him? The editing of my paper was supposed to cost me $82. I was ok with that, because they offered a thanksgiving discount.
Order Details
As I filled in all the information when was looking for the price, I only had to add some details to have my order placed and paid. My assignment wasn’t urgent, so 3 days deadline was completely ok. I was oriented on the quality, not the fast job.
Quality of writing and support
They have a phone number and a chat which is not always available. I discovered that when I went to the site as my deadline expired (I placed order in the evening). The paper hasn’t been sent to me yet and there was no one in chat. By the morning, however, everything was delivered to me. I still had time to read the paper thoroughly and noticed that paper was really well formatted and error free. However, the changes in content didn’t make it better – the editor just changed some words.
Conclusion
I think that if you need a good proofreading, you can use them. However, it’s still a bit overpriced. I found the quality of editing average as it has both strong and weak points. So, I’m going to try some new sites and find ones with high quality of work. My next option will be http://editingwritingservices.org – at least they are transparent with prices and provide guarantees.
